The AICPA Legacy Scholars program is designed to help students of different backgrounds become CPAs by assisting with the cost of their college education. The program also provides scholars with educational and professional development opportunities throughout the year.

AICPA Legacy Scholarships
The AICPA Legacy Scholarships application period runs annually from December 1st through March 1st. You can explore each scholarship’s requirements below. Please note you only need to apply to one of these scholarships to be considered for all that you are eligible for.
This scholarship award provides financial assistance to undergraduate or graduate degree students interested in pursuing the CPA license after graduation. Recipients will be considered based on their overall potential and commitment to becoming licensed CPA professionals after graduation. Applicants must be enrolled as full-time students and be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.Apply
This scholarship award provides financial awards to full-time minority students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting or an accounting-related major. Applicants must have a GPA of at least a 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.Apply
This award provides financial assistance to outstanding women students majoring in accounting or an accounting-related field. The AICPA Foundation, the AICPA’s Women’s Initiatives Executive Committee and its AWSCPA task force sponsor the AWSCPA Scholarship Award to support the success of women in the accounting profession.
This scholarship award provides financial assistance to liberal arts and non-business undergraduate degree holders who are pursuing both graduate studies in accounting and CPA licensure. Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time graduate student and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.Apply
This scholarship award is available to students looking to transfer from a two-year college to a four-year institution to complete their degree in accounting or an accounting-related field. Applicants must have a GPA of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.Apply
