Academic Executive Committee (AEC)
The Academic Executive Committee provides a bridge between accounting professionals and academics to attract and engage a community of diverse and well-prepared future accounting professionals.

Partnerships

AICPA Foundation
The AICPA Foundation was established in 1922 to advance the science of accountancy and accounting education. It's core purpose is to benefit the public by supporting financial education and ethical business behavior and promoting a culturally diverse profession.
State CPA Societies/State Boards of Accountancy
The AICPA collaborates with state professional associations and licensing boards to promote the profession and guide individuals who are pursuing the CPA credential.
AICPA National Commission on Diversity and Inclusion
The AICPA’s National Commission on Diversity & Inclusion, which includes representatives from minority professional advocacy groups; large, medium and small firms; state CPA societies; and leaders from business and industry, government and education, is designed to identify strategies that will increase the number of and the advancement of underrepresented groups in the accounting profession.

The PhD Project is a unique initiative that encourages African-American, Hispanic-Americans and Native Americans to pursue their Ph.D.'s in business to serve as role models and mentors for minority business students. AICPA has been a proud Sponsor of the PhD Project since 1977!
