The AINA Foundation's Scholarship Program puts meaningful dollars in students' hands funds they can use for tuition, living expenses, books, or any other education-related cost while surfacing AI use cases that can inspire the broader profession.

The Advisory Council reviewing applications is made up of leaders actively shaping how accounting and finance firms adopt AI. They are not looking for essays about AI they want to see real work and future thinking.

• You are an undergraduate student studying accounting, corporate finance, taxation, or a closely related field.
• You are a master's student studying accounting, taxation, corporate finance, or a closely related field.
• You will be enrolled at an accredited U.S. college or university during the 2026-27 academic year.
• You are not required to be pursuing a CPA, CGMA, or other professional credential.

A Few Things That Matter

The Council responds to students who understand accounting and corporate finance work deeply enough to identify meaningful opportunities for improvement and who have taken the initiative to explore solutions.

• You should start with the problem, not the technology. Focus first on the challenge, inefficiency, or opportunity you identified, then explain how your solution addressed it.
• You should verify that your project link is accessible before submitting your application. Open it in an incognito or private browser window to confirm reviewers can access it.
• You should be honest about your project's scope. A focused, well-executed solution is often more compelling than a broad concept that is not fully functional. Clearly explain what your project does, its current limitations, and potential future enhancements.
• You do not need to be an engineer or software developer. The Council values applicants who understand accounting and corporate finance well enough to recognize what is worth improving and why it matters.
