As you prepare for the CPA Exam, you may find yourself questioning whether pursuing your CPA license is worth the effort. We’ll admit it: it’s a tough test. But we believe in you and are fully invested in your success, which is why we offer as many resources as possible including free tutorials, bulletins to keep you informed on changes, and Exam Blueprints that basically tell you what you’ll be tested on.

CPA Exam Blueprints
The exam blueprints are published one to two times per year and highlight the content knowledge and skills that may be tested in each exam section. Greater detail is given through tasks representing what you may be asked to do on the exam.
CPA Exam Booklet
The Uniform CPA Examination booklet is produced by the AICPA and offers an exam overview as well as FAQs, tips and resources.
CPA Candidate Bulletin
The most top-to-bottom, through-and-through (not to mention official) handbook for people taking the exam. It covers how to apply, how and when to schedule, what rules are in effect at test centers, when to expect scores, and what topics are covered. You’ll also find information about the roles of CPA Exam partners (the AICPA, NASBA, and Prometric), and board of accountancy contact information.

Exam Sample Tests and Tutorial Topics
To provide you with a preview of the real exam experience, including format and functionality, sample tests with helpful tutorial topics are available for each exam section. You can answer multiple-choice questions and task-based simulations as well as develop a response for the written communication task in the BEC sample test.
A Features & Functionality highlights video also offers a guided tour of the CPA Exam software. It shows what to expect in terms of question type formatting, what tools and resources you’ll have to work with, how to use them, and how you’ll navigate through the various parts of the exam. Note: The tutorial is not available at test centers and does not contain actual exam content.
Scoring
Your score for each section of the CPA Exam is reported on a scale, and you must meet a minimum score to pass. We break everything down for you here.
