Education Requirement for Licensure 150 semester hours including: 36 semester hours in accounting, 30 semester hours in economics & business administration, 60 semester hours in general education and 24 semester hours in any credit subject

Hours in Accounting: 36 semester hours. *Also required for licensure: 30 semester hours in economics & business administration, 60 semester hours in general education and 24 semester hours in any credit subject.
Exam sitting requirements: B.A. (120 hours) with 46 semester hours in accounting and related subjects, including, but not limited to business law, economics, and finance; at least 24 of those semester hours must be in accounting specifically.
Experience Requirements: 2 years (104 weeks) in public practice, government or industry providing services or advice involving the use of accounting, attest, management advisory, tax or consulting skills all of which was supervised by a licensed certified public accountant or public accountant unless otherwise specified
Ethics Exam: Must pass AICPA Ethics exam for initial licensure.
