Hours in Accounting: 30 undergraduate semester hours or 18 graduate hours covering financial accounting, auditing, taxation, and management accounting. Also required: 24 undergraduate semester hours or 18 graduate semester hours of business courses (other than accounting courses), or an equivalent combination thereof.
Exam sitting requirements: B.A degree (120 hours) including 21 credits in accounting that include coverage in financial accounting, audit, management accounting and taxation. Must also complete 9 credits in business courses that include information systems, finance, and business law.
Experience Requirements: 1 year of experience at a public firm or 3 years of experience at a non-public firm (industry, government, academia or nonprofit), verified by a licensed CPA, providing any type of services or advise using accounting attest, compilation, management advisory, financial advisory, tax and consulting skills.
Ethics Exam: No ethics exam
