Education Requirement for Licensure 150 hours (including B.A.)
Participates in International Examination Program No
Hours in accounting: Completed at least 150 semester hours of general college level credit, AND Completed at least 24 semester hours in accounting courses
Exam sitting requirements: As of July 1, 2017, you may qualify academically for Licensure based on the following requirements: Completed a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution, AND Completed at least 150 semester hours of general college level credit, AND Completed at least 24 semester hours in accounting courses, AND Completed at least 24 semester hours in general business courses
Experience requirements: 1 year experience in the practice of public accountancy. The experience includes intensive and diversified experience in accounting or auditing.
Ethics exam: Exam on the laws, regulations and code of ethical conduct in effect in the state of New Jersey
